About Me

Hey whats goin on.  My name’s Ephraim.  I’m a , New Jerseyan, second generation Pakistani, recent college graduate.  I am currently attending Montclair State University going for my Masters (MAT) and teaching certification in biology and teaching students with disabilities.  I like to think a lot, probably too much. I’m very passionate about education, and want to be part of an educational reform movement in America (as opposed to the deform movement currently making the rounds).I was gonna be a doctor but recently I’ve had a big change in perspective.  I give all the credit to one amazing teacher and one amazing philosophy of education class that has opened my eyes to the problems of the American educational system.  Now I have big dreams to be part of an educational movement in this country that gets us away from the current model dominated by traditional lecture-style pedagogy.

This blog is titled “Reflective Thinking” because when I write this blog I write with this mindset and therefore I try to be as “intellectually responsible” as possible.  Ultimately I write how in the future I wanna teach… with open-mindedness, wholeheartedness, and responsibility.  I love comments.  I love debate.  So please contribute.

  1. Hello
I started visiting your blog and found it really interesting.I was wondering if you would be interested in creating a profile on Glipho. Its a social publishing engine for bloggers/writers wherein you can promote your blog and also follow other writers/bloggers,We have a variety of categories like travel, society, fashion, lifestyle etc where you can promote your blog posts.

If your blog is powered by Blogger,Wordpress or Tumblr, you can import posts to Glipho from your existing blog without affecting it at all.Further you can attach twitter, facebook,Google + accounts to your Glipho profile and promote your blog on a larger scale. You can also connect your Instagram,Flickr or picasa accounts to drag and drop your photos into content.
I’d suggest having a look at the website http://www.glipho.com to see what it looks like 🙂
I will be always happy to help if you have any questions and let me know if you want me to send you an invite to set up a profile on Glipho.
